Your Financial Journey Starts Here
With Guest Parris Mills
Are you ready to be inspired and to find out what it took for Parris Mills of Millionaire Mindset Among Men to get started? It would be easy to say his journey started out like everyone else, but it was not even close. Parris joined the Navy and at his young age of 18-20 he was given a brand new credit card with a $15,000 limit. Then you add on a great military pay and what does that equal?
You guessed it. A whole lot of traveling to places like Guam, Hong Kong, Korea and racking up a mountain of debt. What do you do with all of that debt? You take it with you after the Navy and you carry it around with you for a long time. Until you hit your breaking point. Mills said, I look on my bank statement today and I could see purchases from, like, seven years ago, Singapore. So that just really made me mad.”
Parris is now on a mission to get out of debt. He is working and doing any side hustle to make upward of $2000 a week to just focus on paying off his debt. This is where is instagram was born. It was born to share his journey of getting out of debt. He main goal is to let others know that there are options out there. And he is sharing what he is learning.
He has no regret or shame with his military lifestyle and he is determined to learn from this and help others to accept what they did and then pay it back and work extra hard. Paying debt back is hard and it takes time. Mills said, “I have no patience. I want it gone now. ” He is ready to step away from debt and purchase his dream car a Tesla with cash and get into a home.
His biggest money killer is eating out twice a day. He is going to work on cooking his food or taking food with him. He will report back and let us know how is doing with this part of his budget.
